What on earth is sex therapy?
Put simply, sex therapy helps you have a healthy and happy sex life!
Sex has the potential to be one of the most pleasurable, intimate, empowering, and joyful experiences we get to have as human beings. But we’re taught to be insecure, nervous, and ashamed when it comes to sex.
As a sex therapist, my goal is to help you acknowledge and understand the particular blockages that have been dumped on your shoulders, and help you learn to have more fun in the bedroom.
Whether you’re looking to improve your confidence, rekindle the spark with your partner, or learning how to have explosive orgasms, I’m here to help!

What are your qualifications?
Glad you asked.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Sexuality from Brown University and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
I also have 15 years of experience working in sex education, research, and therapy.
I’ve also been featured over 500 times in publications like The New York Times, O, The Oprah Magazine, The Times of London, Real Simple, Refinery29, CNN, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Jezebel, Lifehacker, Esquire, GQ, Bustle, Self, Shape, Glamour, Redbook, and many more.

What can I expect from our first video chat session?
Before our first session, I’ll send you a questionnaire to fill out. You’ll answer questions about your history, your day-to-day-life, and your goals are for our time together.
I’ll read your answers and will prepare a coaching session tailored to address all of your specific questions and goals.
We’ll do our session over video chat. I like to use Google Hangouts, but we can also use Skype.
During the session, I’ll ask some follow-up questions, give you my feedback and suggest exercises and techniques for you to try.
After we’re done, I’ll write up a detailed report of everything we covered, plus some other ideas I may have had during the session itself. I’ll also give you a multi-week game plan for implementing my suggestions.

Won’t it be embarrassing talking to a stranger about my sex life?
Sex is a pretty hard topic to talk about for most people, but it’s my job to help you feel relaxed. I’ve been working in the human sexuality field for 15 years, so I’m used to helping people feel more comfortable. I’m pretty easy to talk to, I promise!
I also offer a variety of online programs for people who prefer their privacy.
Can I book an appointment online?
Yes! Please visit my Appointments page to schedule an appointment right away!
Can you give me advice over email?
I would love to!
I get a ton of emails asking for questions and advice, so I charge for my time in order to provide you with the best possible experience.
Email coaching is a great way to get some fast feedback and suggestions, and it’s the most affordable way of working with me one-on-one.

Can I come see you in person?
Due to popular demand, I currently work over video chat only.
How much does sex therapy cost?
It depends on how you’d like to work together!
My initial video chat coaching sessions are $349 for a 50-minute session and $449 for an 80-minute session. Follow-up sessions are $249. The initial sessions cost more because you also get a detailed questionnaire and a lengthy post-session report.
Email coaching sessions are $135.
My online programs range from $99-$1000+
Do you accept insurance?
I’m happy to provide you with an itemized receipt to submit to your insurance company. Every insurance company is different in terms of coverage, but many private insurance companies provide at least some sort of reimbursement.
Is sex therapy worth it?
Sex therapy is an investment, financially as well as logistically and emotionally.
But there’s something so exciting that happens when you commit to doing this work – you send the message to yourself that your sex life is worth it. That your pleasure is worth it. That you are worth it. That step in and of itself has a huge impact.
Plus, can you really think of anything better to spend your hard-earned money on than amazing sex?
I'm totally overwhelmed!
I know, it’s a lot to take in all at once!
But I promise, when you’re having mind-blowing sex in the not-so-distant future, you’ll look back at this point in your life and wish you had taken action sooner!
If you don’t know where to start, I’m more than happy to walk you through the options and help you make a decision about what feels best for you. Please use my contact form below to get in touch.
