Do You Even Know What You Really Want?

September 19, 2017

What do you really want when it comes to your sex life?

Sex can be such a vulnerable topic that not many people take the time to actually think about what they want in detail.

You might think, “I want to have sex more often” or “I want to stop fighting about our sex life”. Or even simply, “I want things to be different.”

But what does that really mean to you? Why do you want it? What impact would that have on you?

If you want your sex life to change, you have to start with getting a clearer picture of exactly what you want.

This can be surprisingly tricky stuff!

You may think that what you want doesn’t matter.

You may think you’re not allowed to ask for what you want.

You may be afraid to acknowledge what you truly want.

You may be scared you won’t get what you want.

Most of us would rather bury our heads in the sand than take an honest look at our sex life and ask our partners for what we want.

But I don’t want you to hide like that! Because we both know that it’s completely unsatisfying.

Today, I have a simple but powerful exercise to help you get a deeper sense of what you want from your sex life.

When you can tune into your true desires, and the intimate and personal reasons why those desires are important to you, you’ll be so much better equipped to talk to your partner about what you want. You’ll be able to start making those goals a reality.

So I’ve put together a free worksheet to help you get started. These are some of the exact questions I share with my paying sex therapy clients, so I’m excited to give you a sneak peek.
