New Years is always a time for reflection and intention-setting. A lot of us can get carried away promising that this is the year we’ll finally lose that weight, stop smoking, or quit that bad habit.
The problem with most New Years resolutions is that we tend to ground them more in notions of what we’ve being doing “wrong” all this time, rather than what would make us truly happy and fulfilled.
Even if you think New Years resolutions are silly, I encourage you to spend some time this week thinking about what you want for your relationship with your sexuality. Instead of judging yourself for bad decisions, beating yourself up about your body, or hating yourself for your desires, think about what would make you joyful or excited.
What do you want to commit to this year when it comes to your sexuality?
Do you want to finally learn how to have good sex? Do you want to invite more pleasure into your life? Do you want to feel less shame and embarrassment? A better connection to your body? The ability to feel more connected and present with your partner? A more exciting toolkit of tips and tricks? Greater sexual self confidence?
As cheesy as it may sound, I’m always excited to see motivation at this time of the year. I love seeing people make commitments to their sexual selves, and I would be thrilled to support you in any way possible.
Let me know what I can do to help you have a more playful, spontaneous, and exhilarating sex life in 2014.
For an extra nudge of inspiration, I’m opening an amazing giveaway to all readers of this blog. If you sign up for my monthly newsletter, I’ll enter you for a chance to win a FREE Sexploration Session – a $195 value!
These consultation sessions are designed to uncover your blockages to pleasure, provide personalized feedback and suggestions, and jump start a new relationship with your sexuality.
I’ll keep your information completely confidential, and will contact you via email to let you know if you’ve won (in other words, I won’t post your name on the blog). I’ll be accepting entries through the entire month of January, and privately notifying the winner on the 1st of February. Good luck and Happy New Year!
(Edit: The contest is now over, but don’t forget to join my mailing list to get notified when I hold the next one!)
